ClubIQ
How strong is the field at your club? ClubIQ is one number for it, built from every tournament played here. It is never a rating of the venue, the hospitality or the organisation, and it is not league points (that is the Ranking).
What it measures
- Every player gets a FeltIQ from their finishing places. In one night you beat everyone who went out before you and lose to everyone who outlasted you; beating strong players counts more than beating weak ones.
- ClubIQ is the average FeltIQ of the players who played in the 90 days before the club's latest night, weighted by how often they came (six nights or more in those 90 days count fully).
- The scale: 100 is the club's all-time average, and 15 points is a clear step up or down.
- Counted: finished tournaments with at least four players. Not counted: practice tournaments (tick Practice tournament on the Tournament tab before the start), a day of an event that went on to a next day, and nights only opened from a file to look at.
- Knockouts, rebuys and simply showing up do not count; only where you finished.
The tab
- The ring: FIELD STRENGTH, the level, and how far above or below the club's all-time baseline the field is now.
- The trend: ClubIQ after each of the last nights (up to 12), against the baseline. It needs three nights.
- Active players · 90 days, Rated all-time (players with three nights or more), and how far it is to the next level.
- Below: how many nights are behind the score, and HOW CLUBIQ WORKS for the full explanation.

FeltIQ per player
Each player's FeltIQ is the ring in the Database. A player needs three nights for a number, and is provisional (°) until seven. New players start near 100 and move faster; the ± says how sure the number is. Not playing for a while never lowers a FeltIQ; it only makes it less certain, and a club-wide summer break costs nobody anything. Players are recognised by name: a rename or a merge in the Database carries their older nights along, also the ones from old files (every name a player ever had counts). Merge duplicates in the Database.
Older nights
⚙ FeltIQ on the tab opens the history:
- Drop the .tdt files of your old tournament software (or .felt files from another FeltTD) on the drop zone, as many as you like. ClubIQ then starts with the club's real history. A night that was opened and edited much later (spanning more than 16 hours) is refused: its order is not the night's.
- Every night: date, players, winner and where it comes from. A night that is both in a file and played in FeltTD counts once.
- Remove takes a history night out (with Put back to undo it). Nights played in FeltTD itself cannot be removed: use Practice for a night that should not count, before it starts.
The history page works on the tournament PC.
Private
Every player's FeltIQ stays on the club's PC; there is no list of players by strength anywhere. Only the club figure can leave it: on the club page online (Preferences › Club page & website widget, “ClubIQ — the strength of the playing field”), as its level and number, if you leave that switched on, and in the live data feed (Preferences › Live data & integrations) if you switch that on.
